Greetings
Visitor! Diablo (In Spanish means devil) the
Blizzard's excellent game, sold more than a
million copies. Both Computer Gaming World and
GameSpot even named it Game of the Year in 1996.
Some claimed it to be a dumbed-down role-playing
game. Others dismissed it as a mere sophisticated
action game, a new Rogue or Gauntlet. Though it
reinvigorated the role-playing market, many
criticized it for not being a true RPG. To start to surf in this

Diablo II isn't out, and already there's a
tournament planned!
The 1999 Diablo II Challenge will be held in San
Pedro, California, on new year's eve, and will be
followed by a new year's party. (That's 12-31-98
@ 9:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M)
Contestants will be chosen from the best Diablo
players on Battle.net, or the best Diablo II
players if Diablo II will come out at least two
weeks before new year's.
The lucky ones chosen to compete will receive a
free ticket to San Pedro (from the US only) and
free hotel accommodations.
The winner of the tournament will receive a 300
MHZ, 48MB RAM, 6.4 GB HD, IBM computer!
The tourney is sponsored by SuperNova Software
and Gamer and will receive exclusive coverage at Diablo II Official site. |
